To go along with goal #2

My healthy breakfast/lunch smoothie!
ingredients:
1 cup Greek Yogurt - You really have to watch the sugar in greek yogurt (flavored kinds, thats why I keep to the plain. Which honestly took me a while to get used to.) PROTEIN - seriously.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk - at only 35 calories a cup, its delish (and helps thin out my smoothies)
1 scoop GREENSuperfood - helps get in some veggie servings, and helps keep me energized
1 heaping scoop Chia Seeds - Chia seeds are amazing! When they soak in liquid they turn to gell like consistency, and along with fiber like benifits they help keep you feeling full.
1 scoop vitamin C - that death flu thats been going around… in your face.
1 scoop nutritional yeast - adding some B12 to my smoothie
A sprinkle of MACA powder - Natural Energy (to help me kick my red bull addition)
A sprinkle of Wheat Germ - more protein and fiber
I also added 1/2 cup of frozen berries (to help make it yummie, and being frozen makes it a thick smoothie)
I also added some Agave syrup to help sweeten it.
Here we go…
And as in tradition to all New Years eve, I am sitting here making my resolutions. And this year is the biggest one yet. With my lack of job (a feeling I haven’t felt in at least 12 years) creating a sense of urgency in my planning.
Goal # 1
Get back to my own self.
This past year more than any other I’ve put myself on the back burner. I got so lost between work, the kids, and keeping up the house, This year I am really going to work on making the time…
Goal #2
Getting healthy again
With my late nights at work, and all the stress (yup, I’m one of those terrible emotional eaters) I really let that part go This year I am getting back to trying to eliminate (really- just reduce) my sugar intake. And possibly get back to being a veggie.
Goal #3
This year is my year…
Dye my hair blue, get a tattoo… What ever I want to do I’m making stuff happen. I’ll be 25… i’m getting kind of old to be at all concerned with what other people think.
Happy New Year
me

I was going through my fabric and I realized I have a lot of prints… Especially zebra prints for some reason. How strange (I’m not a huge zebra fan)… Lol

My obsession with my embroidery machine is growing every day. If I’m not thinking up ideas I’m obsessed with finding the best shirts/backing.
Needless to say if I’m going to do something…I’m going to dive in till I’ve got a good grip on it. Hopefully I can get my butt in gear this weekend and get stuff accomplished! Pictures to come for sure.
The machine has Won
Three hours fighting with a thread tangle on my brand new sewing machine… >:(
What what?
I got the studio sorted and organized (finally). I haven’t had time to make stuff in a long time, but I’m going to make time now. I am much more zen when I can get creative.
Halloween is already past
And I had some really cool pumpkin ideas planned out, but most of those ideas will have to wait till next year.
Thanksgiving projects await me now.
Getting my butt in gear and starting a posting frenzy tomorrow!
